Exciting Valorant updates in patch 0.49 and the introduction of Ranked Mode.
Riot Games recently published a new update for the highly awaited Valorant game. The patch update 0.49 fixes many facets of the game, and new matchmaking elements got introduced. Despite the beta version, let us see as of now what further amazing improvements to the Valorant gameplay got introduced altogether.
Omen gameplay
- Omen becomes prone right after leaving his alternate shadow mode and no longer appears dark. The skill intends both to compensate for an invulnerability error and to score additional clarification points.
- The entry sound attenuation radius of Omen’s from the Shadows is now 2250.
Map Changes
- To eliminate the Sage Barrier Orb boost, there are now attached curtains to the top of double doors on Haven.
- Multiple updates on the Haven, Bind and Split geometry to correct possible bugs and help improve gameplay.
- Materials improved on Bind and Haven to make surfaces ultimately more reliable.
- Radianite crates changed color to unify overall visuals.
Observer Mode
- Ghost cheat is now added as an option to custom games with cheats available so that you can travel around the field in no-clip mode.
- When they are still a valid viewpoint, the departing drone camera will switch back to the most recently viewed player.
- Switching to see through players now iterates through a whole squad before turning to players on the other side.
User interface and HUD changes
In-game changes
- Character illustration removed from the player’s minimap icon.
- There is a new marker for directional damage, low visual health, and ammunition.
- Speech expression is now visible above the heads of the allies.
- The addition of color above the head of allies to spike symbol.
- Fixed the symbol of ultimate skill above the heads of teammates appearing as loaded after obtaining one point.
- Ping elements now diminish when beneath the player’s aim.
Out-of-game changes
- Find Match button got renamed Start and moved to the Play page.
- The navigation button now more conveniently clicks on the targets.
- All map assets got tailored, such full fixed orientations frequently position attackers at the bottom and defensemen at the top.
- Tweaked scrolling speed to make social panel scrolling easier.
- Crosshair preview rendered in Configurations is smaller to allow more space for controls.
The overall quality of Valorant life
- Addition of the ability to leave a cooperative custom game.
- The audio occlusion mechanism got modified to help players distinguish audio distancing indications better.
- Players who give up on games, or avoid agent choices, will now face penalties that will prohibit them from queuing for a while.
- You can now view the Valorant players who are online in Riot games.
Introduction of Ranked Mode
The Valorant beta is relatively new to the scene, but it already got a prominent new addition in the form of Ranked mode. This mode will give you access to a more professional level, but as this is the beta, any progress you gain will get wiped out upon the release of the full game. Which involves adding the ranked is merely putting it through their paces.
