FURIA vs. Team Liquid – Epic Game – ESL One Major: Road to Rio 2020

ESL One Major 2020 is progressing in a convincing fashion as the fans witness some remarkable CSGO gameplay throughout the event. The most recent face-off was the semi-final played among the Team Liquid and FURIA. Both teams put forth an exceptional performance and thriving for the slot to get into the Grand Finals.

Game 1: Map Overpass

Team Liquid seemed like a solid team as they opened the game 1 with a comprehensive victory in the pistol round. However, that proved to be the extent of their efforts as they were barely able to put up a fight in the T-side of the first half of the game. FURIA was just all over the Team Liquid.

FURIA forced the Team Liquid to commit to the team fights, putting them into a tough spot to make a comeback. HEN1 from FURIA knocked out the Team Liquid in the first half of the game with his exceptional skill on AWP.

It looked like the game was going to end anytime without much resistance, but Team Liquid proved their worth after switching sides in the second half of the game. Twistzz played exceptionally by getting crucial kills and winning 1v1 battles, successfully lifting the morale of his team members.

Team Liquid was able to put up a convincing fight and to manage to win eleven successive rounds. The victory was just around the corner, but FURIA was successful in snatching it away from the hands of Team Liquid. FURIA players were able to land decent shots, which resulted in unfavorable team fights for Team Liquid. Despite making an exceptional comeback, it all went under as FURIA closed the game 1 in their favor.

Game 2: Map Vertigo

This time around, Team Liquid was looking strong the get-go. The solid ten-second bomb diffuse was the proof that Team Liquid will never go down without putting a fight. On the other hand, both HEN1 and arT were putting up a beast-like performance, hitting every shot dead on that got fired from their guns. Their impressive performance proved to be the key factor in denying Team Liquid’s lead and winning some crucial rounds.

Team Liquid was playing well but not enough to stand toe to toe against the convincing teamwork of FURIA. There were several misplays and off rotations that resulted in them losing crucial rounds. Twistzz was the star player from Team Liquid once again, desperately holding his team together by killing the most members of FURIA.

The MVP play without a doubt came from the hands of KSCERATO and yuurih in the two successive rounds. During those decisive rounds, both players shot some dazzling gunshots that resulted in killing four members of Team Liquid, respectively.

FURIA was able to close the game after winning those decisive rounds and winning the game two by 16-12, and also resulting in a remarkable victory over the Team Liquid in the series by 2-0. This victory also granted FURIA players the access to the Grand Finals of the event.
