Infinity Esports will take on NoPing e-sports in the first playoff round of the Movistar Liga Pro Gaming Season 4. The elimination match will take place on 22nd May and will be played in the best-of-three format.
NoPing e-sports
NoPing makes its way to the playoffs after a remarkable performance in the group stage. They had a flawless run where they beat SadBoys, SandBlood, and 0-900 without dropping a single game. Yet you should know that all these teams are far less superior and aren’t even labeled as professional sides.
NoPing might not be the best team in South America, yet they are considered one of the best in the region. The Brazilians were quite busy since the start of 2020, as they finished at second place in the One Los Angeles 2020 – Online: South America. They simply dominated Thunder Predator, FURIA, and beast coast in the group stage but suffered a 3-1 defeat in the grand finals.
It seems like NoPing learned a lot from this defeat, as after ESL they won the Betsafe Invitational and also managed a fourth-place finish at the Realm Collide tournament. The side led by Thiolicor has established a respectable record of at least achieving a top-four finish in nine competitions this year. Their worst result so far was in March where they finished at eight spot in the StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor.
Infinity Esports
Infinity Esports displayed a rocky performance in the group stage as the side finished with a 1-2-0 record. They tied the series with Thunder Predator and Incubus Gaming but managed to win against Deal ESports.

On paper it looks like Infinity is not as good as NoPing in the tournament, but you should know that their group was a lot tougher. Yet their tie against Incubus raises some concerns since they lost that game in under 16 minutes.
A few weeks ago, the side also competed in the Realms Collide competitions, but it was a disappointing run. The team led by Raykill was helpless from start to finish as they lost their opening game to the beast coast and was the first team to get eliminated after losing to Real Deal in the lower bracket.
The current roster of Infinity Esports was established in April where they signed Raykill, Bernardo “Berna” Rocca Alarcón, Junior Reyes “Yadomi” Rimari, Benjamín “Benjaz” Lanao Barrio, and Jeremy “Jeimari” Ruiz Aguinaga. The team parted ways with Berna on 12th May and his replacement, Juan “Atun” Ochoa has displayed decent performances for his team, most of them being on his signature hero, Alchemist.
Prediction: NoPing e-sports 2-0 Infinity Esports
No matter how you look at it, NoPing is simply the better team coming into this game. The side has shown impressive results and will be reluctant to make its mark against this newly assembled roster of Infinity Esports.
We believe that if NoPing bans Alchemist in all the maps, then Infinity simply stands no chance of winning a single game of the series.
