Isco, a former Spanish international soccer player, is seeking a new club and has been offered to several teams in the English Premier League. He previously played for Real Madrid and then joined Sevilla last summer, but his contract was terminated in December due to a disagreement with management. He was close to joining Union Berlin in the Bundesliga, but the move fell through.
Union Berlin had agreed to sign Isco, but on deadline day, they released a statement accusing the midfielder of changing his demands, which led to the breakdown of the deal. Currently, Isco is still looking for a new club and his representatives have contacted various English teams for a short-term deal.
Everton is one of the teams that has been offered Isco’s services. Isco is open to a contract until the end of the season to quickly return to football. He does not want to wait until the summer to find a new club and will consider all his options, including offers from clubs in Japan, Turkey, and the UAE.
Isco, who will turn 31 in April, has extensive experience in La Liga. He developed his skills in the Valencia academy before breaking out with Malaga, which earned him a €30m move to Real Madrid in 2013. During his time at Real Madrid, he made 353 appearances, but was not a regular starter, playing only 300 minutes in his final season before moving to Sevilla as a free transfer. While at Sevilla, he played 12 times, starting in ten games, but failed to score a goal. Tensions behind the scenes led to his release in December.
